Dancers auditioning for hip hop should choose at least one combo to learn and perform at auditions. Dancers should learn the combo that challenges them, but still highlights their strengths. We want to see your potential and work ethic through these combos, not necessarily your perfection of the dances. If you choose to learn more than one combo, make sure to RSVP for the corresponding audition times. Dancers ages 6-10 are encouraged to consider learning and performing the Performance Hip Hop combo before attempting Advanced Hip Hop combos. If a dancer in that age group is interested in auditioning with an Advanced Hip Hop combo, they are strongly encouraged to also audition with the Performance Hip Hop combo.

Advanced Hip Hop Combos 1 & 2 differ in style but are considered equal in complexity. Dancers auditioning for Advanced Hip Hop should choose the combo they feel they can execute and perform best. Dancers interested in performing both combos are encouraged to do so! This helps the judges get a sense of how a dancer performs with different styles of choreography.
